What horror...

How helpless they seem.

People, wandering about in a daze.

A destroyed city.

So many are dead.

The living roam the streets searching for loved ones.

A city in chaos, whose trapped children cry for help from beneath the rubble.

All the schools, banks, and churches,

an entire city turned to dust.

With many stories about the living and the survivors.

2 girls trapped with Rose the African

They've spent 60 hours beneath the ground, singing and talking, before being saved

After 3 days, a 16 month old child is found alive.

A baby, only 22 days old, is pulled from the ruins after 1 week.

In 36 seconds, a father of three is a father of none.

Those found dead are rushed off to be buried.

The ones who are still trapped beneath the ruined city will remain there

What happened to the crowd...

The city shook for 36 seconds.

We are all without a friend, a relative.

The earthquake has transformed Port-au-Prince into a mass grave.

The numbers range from 75 thousand to 250 thousand.

Could twins be born among the ruins of the cathedral...

Could this be true?

Everyone survives as best they can

A city in a state of shock

No one will ever know exactly how many disappeared on

01 12 2010-0120

Survivors.

An entire city to be reconstructed.
