Christy Chan

Christy Chan is a filmmaker and artist based in San Francisco. She holds
an MA in Communication Arts from Virginia Commonwealth University
and a BA in Writing from Old Dominion University. Her work is currently
on exhibit at the Kala Institute of Art, where she is an Artist-in-Residence.

The story of Pen Pals, a work about her autobiographical experiences
with the Ku Klux Klan, was recently aired on NPR’s
Snap Judgment.
